Artist Statement

 I work are inspired by nature, mythological heroes and everyday objects. Metamorphosed human and animal figures shrouded in darkness, suggest the existence of a distorted world-order. They are between representational and abstraction. I experiments with preserving the unexpected forms and colures achieved with this understated medium. Through my paintings she goes beyond the obvious to uncover the symbolism within the human aspect of daily life. Through painting, I face and deepen the experience of the human body, as a projection of the being, vision of self and her own emotions.
